Dallas officer killed in scuba accident before wedding
A Dallas police officer who was vacationing in the Philippines for his birthday and his upcoming wedding died Tuesday in a scuba diving accident.

Family members said Officer Hans Campbell was hit by a boat in the water. He was declared clinically dead and was put on life support for organ donation. He will be removed from life support Thursday, the same day he and his fiancée were set to be married at a resort in the Philippines.

Sorry to hear that keeps happening, during a dive vacation half way around the world & a couple days before the wedding. Condolences to his fiancée & family. It must be devastating to them.

Was he floating on the water by himself without SMB or safety sausage in a heavy traffic area?

Sad yet grateful for Officer Campbell's thoughtfulness and generosity .

Please consider organ donation.

sad and sorrowful news...condolences to family, fiancee, and friends....

So sorry for all who love him. What a gift he/they are making with the organ donation.

The speedboat which was later found not registered with the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) while Cagandahan is now in the custody of the Panglao Police Station.

.........Homicide charges has been filed against Cagandahan at the Provincial Prosecutors Office by the Panglao Police Station.
