If you are a shore diver and want to catch some bugs on mini-season, this is for you.

Pompano Beach -- A1A on 6th street. Find it easily on google maps. Known to locals but few others. A meager amount of public parking on A1A with a public shower.
Snorkel east a few hundred yards and have at it. 15-20 ft deep. Plenty of reef with ample amount of bugs.

thanks for the info......hope there's no penalty for disclosure?....

The penalty is a reef wiped clean of sealife...

Few people were able to do the beach dive due to conditions, but the boats on shallow reefs off Pompano were very productive.
