Great dive at Tyee today! Viz was about 30 - 40 foot, better at depth of 80+
First ever Sealion that taste tested my right hand!! A blue eyed beauty!!

Dove Tyee today, Vis was maybe 30 feet today, pretty much stayed consistent to 150feet. Didn't see the wolfies, but I wasn't really looking, apparently from the two Divers that were there (Chris and Kathy, think it was Kathy, I forget her name from Courtenay, I apologize if I got that wrong), this was more of a brush off the cobwebs dive for me.

Planning on doing my scooter loop at Finn Beach to Clark rock tomorrow AM. Will report back on the vis. Guessing though that it will be more of the same with vis in the 20-40foot range.

Dove Madronna last night, vis was garbage 5-10 feet, mind you it was low tide so I didn't expect much anyways.

Parksville Bay and area had a number of active fish boats. Looks like the herring spawn is in full swing. There goes vis for at least a couple of weeks :(

Well we didn't have much of a blow out last year from the herring spawn, well that I remember. Now the summer on the other hand was some of the worst vis I had seen on the island in quite awhile. here is hoping we have a great summer for visibility.
