Komodo Dragons, just the idea of seeing the largest living lizards can instill a sense of awe in most of us. However, thinking of Komodo National park as nothing more than the dragons vastly underestimates the beauty of the region. Featuring some of the most exotic and diverse marine environments on earth as well as thrilling dive sites – Komodo Diving is unlike anything you’ve ever encountered. Manta Rays drift by while we stare at pygmy seahorses. Sharks and Dolphins predate on the vast schools of fish that thrive in these rich waters where the Pacific and Indian oceans meet. Or step in for a drift dive faster than any you’ve ever experienced

Best Time to Visit
June and July are the most common months to visit our Komodo dive center. While the skies and water may be more calm, the winds are present, but not very strong, making the days very pleasant and the nights slightly cool. We are open year round and even if diving is affected by weather in one section of the park, we are usually able to visit other parts.

Komodo Dive Center – Diving These are typically 3 dive days visiting many different sites throughout the park and a great option for those short on time or prefer sleeping on land.

That MOMENT when WickedDiving is using the name of my company for its own promotion.

So i guess i can post a little bit about the real KOMODO DIVE CENTER here!
Komodo Dive Center (www.komododivecenter.com) is a German owned and operated dive center in Labuanbajo, Komodo.
We run liveaboard safaris and day dive trips from February until December nonstop.

The classic FULL week dive cruise to the SOUTH and NORTH of the Komodo National Park would look something like this:
Sharks, Mantas, Turtles and all kind of macro life is what we expect to see. The first half we will be cruising around South Rinca island (Cannibal Rock, Torpedo point, Yellow Wall...) to then make our way to Padar island. Padar has some amazing dive sites as well as the most famous sunset view of eastern Indonesia.
On day four, we will pass Makassar reef to see Manta rays to then cruise all the way up to Castle and Crystal rock. A morning dive at the "Cauldron / Shotgun" will be the main attraction of the last day. WARING: CURRENTS haha!

Our vessel is equipped with 5x cabins, all air-conditioned and with private bathroom. the two available dive tender boats are equipped with 40hp engines and will bring each group to the preferred dive site.

Basically we offer four dives a day, several trekking/wildlife activities, gorgeous food and a fun time on our boat.
