Hi !
For many years I used a DC 1000 with satisfaction ( never problems !!!) .

At it 4.2015,after flooding, I bought a DC 1200.
With DC 1200 (standard setup: Blue Water>25ft (for Red Sea) with internal flash) i have a lot of problems with these "red frames" as you can see in boot clips.

2. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxgwbagiy1crvux/PICT0157.mpg?dl=0

I'm a bit desperate...
Pls some suggestion ?
Thanks in advance!!!

I am not interested in signing up for Dropbox. Can you simply attach the files here...??

Ok, they both played this time. I don't know why they didn't before. Pretty bad. I'll have to get my DC1200 out and play with it, but maybe someone else can give an answer before me.

Are you in the US...??

I have a DC1200 and I have never seen that. What is your depth? Looks underexposed. Only time I see those colors is if I have a very underexposed picture and I try to correct it is photoshop.

What is your distance setting?

@Steve_C Thanks for answer !
- Normally the depth is around 20 mt
- Distance setting? Normal ( not macro)

@DandyDon I'm from Italy

I have the DC1200 (since early 2011) also and am not an expert by any means. Wondering if aiming camera toward brighter light source is the cause. In the AVI video, just before the video goes red, the camera angle seems to change slightly toward the surface and at 11 seconds it appears as if a flare of some type (the vertical line from top to bottom of screen) shows up and a water bubble which may be reflecting light heightens the effect of the flare.

In the mpg video, the camera angle again goes toward the surface when the video goes red and goes back to normal as the angle goes back down.

Haven't had the problem myself while diving, but when I did a manta ray snorkel in Hawaii, I had camera set to automatic. Used a video light, but was also aiming downward through lights set up on the board we held onto and lights set up by divers on the bottom of ocean floor, and through thousands of bubbles. I had a few videos come out red. Not all, so I'm not quite sure what made the difference; maybe distance.

I wondered if you were in the US as far as service options go, but if English is not your primary language - I guess not.

Just to be sure: Are you using the right settings, for Underwater, Camera Only Flash?

Can you change to Land mode, shoot some outdoors shots on a sunny day, and show those?
