Is there a spot in Aruba where you can rent tanks from a dive shop on the shore & do a shore dive straight from there or are all the shore dives away from the dive shops?

Thanks.

There aren't any shore diving sites on Aruba. The sites are all pretty far off shore to make it practical. I'm not positive but I don't think there are typical "dive shops" in Aruba. There are dive operators and they sell some gear but for the most part you're looking at dive boat operators who happen to have some minimal dive shop products. So you won't be able to just rent tanks. For diving I recommend going with Clive, Dive Aruba - Scuba Classes, Dive Trips and Equipment Rentals. Small 6 pack with personalized service.
