Can anyone give me the history behind this?

I picked up a R295 yellow 2nd stage at some point over the last several years. I never recorded its serial number as I only used them in training and not when traveling myself. I was surprised to see the serial number! It says "BETA-TEST 04".

Can anyone give me any history with this one? Thanks!

You have somehow acquired a DEMO unit that could have originally been a salesman sample that accidentally leaked out into the public. As these usually are fully functional units, to be sure, if you would send back to me at SCUBAPRO, I will replace it with a new R095 for you. Send me an IM so we can coordinate please.

Don't do it! A beta reg for that? G260 at a minimum.

I upgraded it with the addition of the venturi control lever to a 395. Breathes like a charm. Only a R360 or perhaps a S600 for this one.
