New Ventura County, CA Diver

Hello all,

James here, 24 year old kid down in Channel Islands Harbor, CA. Open water certified with 5 dives, looking to start a lifelong dive career. I have freedove and fished a bit with a hawaiian sling up and down the coast from Malibu to Santa Barbara. I currently do residential real estate in the Channel Islands, Oxnard, Ventura area, but am hoping to soon become a US Navy officer. I hope to get some gently-used or well-serviced gear that I can take with me and use to dive around the world in the Navy. My biggest constraint is price, so i hope to learn, and slowly piece together my gear and start becoming a more competent, experienced diver. please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me with tips, or just to say hi. Welcome to diving! There are deals to be had for sure, but never be lead by price. More often then not, with dive gear you really do get what you pay for. Ask questions! That's what we are here for
