A mostly boring video of diving at Belcarra Park during a rainy January day. Really just another chance to practice my editing skills using what footage I could get.

I only had time for one quick dive and was hoping the vis would be better. Sadly I just missed catching video of a beautiful sailfin sculpin on the reef (it darted as I turned the camera on and I couldn't find it again). You and I did a dive out there as I recall from my log:

Aug. 5/2007. Belcarra Marker. Dive #20. 31', 36min, 10' vis, temp 55F. Comments: 1st Nitrox dive... boring :)

That was our long swim out to the light and back, which I have never repeated. I prefer looking under the dock at all the stars and going right, past the eel grass (during hooded nudi season the grass is loaded) to the little reef.

I agree. I do remember that dive. Would be much easier with scooters now :) Visibility has always been a problem there especially with the rain. I have been there on a few occasions where I thought I was in the Caribbean.
First Nitrox dive after our class at LD. I think I still have pics somewhere of it.
