Pepper Park has excellent diving but it is rare to get good viz. You can call Deepsix Steve to get reports. Join his facebook and email list for "Clear water Alerts". It requires about a week of west wind to knock the waves down to one foot or less. I like incoming tide for better water coming in. Off my kayak I can get near two hour dive times off my steel 100. I have started with 20' of viz and ended with about 8' of ciz before. Do not leave valuables in sight in your car.

Hi slack might be best but doesn't matter a lot-might be clearer at hi slack tide though.... West winds are essential to flatten the seas and help clear the shallow water. It's 15-20 ft deep. Early in the day is good as the winds are usually less. Check the buoy data off Ft Pierce inlet for wave height and period..........There is a phone at the lifeguard stand--call and ask the conditions. A couple of days of winds out of the west would be good.

if we get a couple of days of flat, calm water and a west wind, then viz can be ok with 10-25 feet. 5-12 feet is considered real good here.
