Local Cebu dive community are making use of donations via 'Help Malapascua' to get relief aid to the island:

Anyone hear anything about Tepanee on Malapascua? It like all the seaside resorts is horribly exposed.

Andy, just to encourage you...

Your photos have been sent to our church group in Canada to help understand the devastation in the Philippines.
$10,000 is already en-route (not much, but a beginning). I've been informed, the Canadian government will match donations.
Hopefully a lot more will be forthcoming. I will be in Malapascua tomorrow not to dive but to see how I can
help if at all. At least I can report back to the Canadian churches.

Andrea from TSD said she spoke with them (Andrea of Tepanee). Tepanee think they can be to be back up and running in a week? I think those are the nicer buildings built on the ground that are kinda hunkered down on the slope. Not sure about the Logan bungalows - they are more exposed and can't really see them from photos. I can hardly recognize the places.

Thanks for the update on Tepanee.

I was just looking at the photo's on Thresher Sharks's FB pages. They leave me speechless. It's almost worse when you see a building you recognise and then relate that to what used to be around it. And i'm not even sure that they can use the money I sent as their PayPal account got frozen.
