Two great dives with Underwater Explorers this morning in Boynton Beach. First dive was at Black Condo, very mild North current, 83 degrees, about 30 feet visibility. Second dive was at Gazebo, same current, most of the water was warm but some cool spots down to 78 degrees, visibility a little better at about 40 feet.

Looks like the entire weekend is predicted to have mild winds and seas around 2 feet, today was definitely less than 2 feet, almost flat and glassy before wind picked up modestly.

This is going to be a great long weekend

I call BS!
Icy cold water upwellings from FTL to Boca.
Horrendous viz from FTL to Boca for some reason also.
Ripping currents expected all weekend, and most likely for the rest of lobster season from FTL to Boca.
Great Whites sighted with packs of roving Makos on the reefs from FTL to Boca.
Moon Jellies and Portuguese Man-O-War from FTL to Boca.
And of course......
There is not a lobster to be found as usual from FTL to Boca.

Dade and Palm Beach County are fine though.
Just avoid FTL to Boca.

Chug
Hoping this helped.

You're not even going to mention the LBTS Kraken?

Castor/Table Tops in the morning and Castor/Green Roof-Black Condo in the afternoon. All the action was at the bow in the morning and the stern in the afternoon on the Castor. Many, many Goliath Grouper and bait balls with predators, quite a show. Mild North current, water 81-83 degrees. visibility 30-40 feet. A great day with UE in Boynton Beach

Jupiter this afternoon with JDC. Zion Train with few Goliath Grouper yet, nice drift at Bluffs. Water 81-82 degrees, mild North current, visibility 30 or so feet

One more day to the long weekend, back to Boynton Beach

Great end to the Labor Day weekend yesterday diving in Boynton Beach with UE. Black Condo and 75 in morning, mild to moderate North current, 83 degrees, about 40 feet visibility. A double on the Castor in the afternoon, it was two completely different dives. 1st dive in very brisk current, 83 degrees. We had to wait out a thunderstorm prior the the 2nd dive which had nearly no current and water temp a few degrees cooler. Lots of GG on both dives, a real treat. Seas sure were cooperative for the entire weekend.

Looking forward to being back down next month
