I spent two days diving on Nusa Lembongan last summer (the actual diving was rather by Nusa Penida, of course), and I could easily have spent a week there. Not just for the diving, which was absolutely great, but for the atmosphere. And by that I don't mean that it's a "banana pancake trail" destination where 20-something people spend their time competing in how laid back one can be, rather that it's actually laid back.
It can also be hella cheap, if you're on a budget.
