Hi headed down Jan 26-March6 diving with Scuba Dive Cozumel Also hopefully a couple dives with Christy.:D

Thanks for taking the time to make the list. I thought we didn't have one because the January crowd was way too cool for lists. As in "We don need no stinkin' list to dive amigo". But since you went to all the effort you might as well add two more. My son Kyle and I will be down the 11th to the 18th, staying at La Ceiba and diving with Aldora on the Big Boy's Boat with the Big Bottles of Geezer Gas.(120's filled to 3400) Looks like there will be a few SBrs around on sat the 12th for a possible meetup if interested. Happy and safe diving to all. David

Hi-Is there anyone coming at the end of January that I could send some Gopro items to and then meet at your favourite watering hole for the exchange.:D:cheers:

On a side note, how is the Snorkeling around the Allegro? If anyone knows, otherwise I will post in another section?

Allegro is our favorite place to stay and dive in Coz. However, the snorkeling there is no good. The reason is because it is one of the only actual sandy beaches in Coz and there is no bottom formation in their area other than sand. They will allow you to snorkel it but you will be limited to what you see....only a few fish.

Hey Paul! it was really fun to meet you both. See you next time!

I had a great 12 days diving in Cozumel, it's good to be home but sad to not be in Cozumel.
It was good to meet lots of folks from ScubaBoard while in Cozumel.

Woohoo! I'm blue! I'm blue! I'm blue!
Saw three nurse sharks, three eagle rays, pike blennies out hunting, female sailfin blennies checking me out, big southern ray snoozing in the sand, a queen angel trying to beat up a rock beauty, bar jacks fighting over a yellow ray, a needlefish so big it looked like a cuda, lots of clinging crabs out feasting, and plenty of other cool stuff this morning.
So good to be back......

Hate that we're not blue anymore, but feel blue sitting here at IAH waiting for our flight to Austin. For those still yet to arrive, you're in for a treat. Have to admit, haven't been in a dive in Coz since we bought our place 2 years ago, but it has been well worth the wait. Our first dives last week at Palancar Caves & Cedral Pass were simply terrific. The amount & color of the coral & sponges were amazing and the amount and variety of marine life took me by surprise. The Eco system is obviously healthy to see the improvement over 2 years ago. Those first two dives we saw black tip & nurse sharks, eagle & sting rays, huge eels, groupers, angels and just about everything you can think of. The one thing we didn't see much of were lionfish. A couple, but nothing like. I was expecting.

Enjoy when you get there!

Mike
