We currently use the Kirby Morgan gas manifold block, but recently discovered these. If you or know of teams who use these I would be interested in hearing a review of the product

The OmniSwivel Gas Switch Block allows a diver to change between two separate air tanks without having to remove their full face mask. The knob turns a full 180° ensuring that there is no accidental switching during the dive. The knob pointing to the first position (as shown in first photo) signifies that the air source closest to the outlet is in use.
The second photo shows the GSB in the shut-off position. In case of a second stage failure, a diver can turn the flow off to mask and switch to an alternative regulator. This shut-off position also prevents a cross blending of gases during a switch over.
The third photo shows the GSB using the secondary air source.

We started out with these, 3 of the 9 failed. Locked up, unable to turn the switchblock due to sand/mud working its way in. The 180 degrees you have to turn it is also a pain in the rear, almost impossible to switch it without having to change your grip to get it all the way around. The middle position on the switchblock equals no air at all. Not a good thing when you have to change your hand position to get it al the way into the next position especially when it's cold, zero vis black water with muddy gloves. Kirby Morgan is the gold standard for good reason, simple design that is very easy to use.

Sent them all back to the manufacturer and they suppossedly rebuilt them. They also suppossedly had a prototype we were going to T&E. Got a few more dives on them and four failed. Omniswivel stopped returning calls. Now we use the Kirby Morgans we should have started with.

POS that will probably get someone killed one day, AVOID!

I wanted add that this is NOT an OTS product as the subject of the topic implies. It is made by omniswivel. OTS products are great IMO.
