Venice Beach Bash - June 2, 2012

Just finished dive 26...this newbie is coming up in the world

And...I can't wait to get back out there! I am really looking forward to this dive and spending more time with the awesome folks from scubaboard!

Still not sure what I'll be bringing to eat, perhaps fruit and snack stuff?

Fruit and snack stuff will be fine. Just remember Fruit will have to be kept chilled while we are all diving!!!!

Just came across this thread.

Signed up to go last year, but after being rescheduled I couldn't make it. My wife and I would like to go on the 11:00am trip on Man Overboard. This year the wife doesn't have a bun in the oven and will be able to join me.

I will think about what to bring this week and post when we figure it out. Look forward to meeting you all.

OK, Jim and I are finally back online and on the boards....so far, I think we're in for the day for some diving, but I don't want to take boat spots until he has a peek.
Like all else, we'll try to contribute some substantial munchies to get everyone through the day, and will have a tent and chairs for ourselves to add to "Conch Row".

Okay, it's time to pipe in here. Mike and I will try to make it to this event, it's been a couple of years since we've hit the water in Venice, and we're long overdue.

We're in for an EZ Up Shade canopy and will post later when we figure out what we'll do for food.

floridanewbe is my husband and posted we will go. Sign us up(2) for an early boat please and we will do some shore diving later in the day as well. I will bring a cooler full of snacks, sandwiches and goodies. We will be driving over from the other coast so if you have a recommendation for accomdations, please let me know. We will drive over early sat am and stay overnight.
Please pm me full details on boat meetup and directions.
haven't dove for shark teeth yet so excited to try the other coast!
