I noticed that Peachtree Dive Center does trips to a place called "White Stone Quarry". I'm pretty sure this is the same place. Maybe they could help you get in touch. Theres also a Facebook page for Dive Haven. They haven't posted anything about changing their name, but they posted recently that they were scheduled to be open last Sat and Sun. Hope this helps.

[Deac in the Wake]

BTTT for the new dive season. White Stone's website has been suspended but it may be due to not needing it in the off-season. Anyone been up there in 2012 yet?

Well, viz is really bad- about 3ft or less. Lots of algae, especially all around the dock and platforms. Temps lower 70's at surface, 55 at 36ft.

It opens up around 70FFW or so to about 15 feet but it is brutally cold. I had 45deg on the computer at the bottom last Saturday.

I was trying new thermals in my drysuit and they were fantastic- except I had to damn near empty out my weight bin to get down. Lots of buoyancy. Doesn't matter how much you're insulated- when it's that cold, the chill runs through you. They really need to clean up the algae around the dock. It's like swimming through slimy green toilet paper.
