Anyone used Beach Buddy?

Haven't used it but it doesn't sound very practical. It looks like the idea is to gear up in the surf zone. That's not the best idea for beach diving in cali.
 
The wheels are too narrow so this thing is going to sink up to the axel on most beaches making it just about useless. If it had wider inflatable balloon tires that could be removed and then used as a flag float you might have something.
 
Had a friend who got one. Made fun of him, took him forever to get his gear on and break down the thing. Gimicks in diving usually end up in the trash.
 
Asides from the very narrow window of surf and beach surface conditions that would allow for its intended use, it looks like a royal PITA and an open invitation to catching kelp.
