Any information about a fresh water lake near Charleston, SC that is used for open water check-outs?

Lake Robinson (?)

Anyone have any info or contact information?

Thanks,
Roger

No, that's not it. How about a Lake Johnson or Johnson Lake. I'm searching this for someone else so I'm just asking . Any ideas?

Is Trophy Lakes the only freshwater site used for o/w check-outs?

No, we use a private lake near the intersection of 17 + 41 in Mt Pleasant, 25 min from downtown. It's 3.5-30' deep, has no algea on bottom, and has sand walls and bottom with a neutral bouyancy and navigation course. Vis is 200' when you start and 25 after the sand gets kicked up. Check out www.lowcountryscuba.com or facebook.com/lowcountryscuba and check out the class calender. Anytime we have an instructor headed up there your welcome to join and check it out!

Just my 2 cents,
Vic
