Many people use a smartphone these days. I'm wondering what dive planning software is available for these things. So far, I found:
  • iScubaPlan: free/$7.99, available for iOS. website: iScuba Plan
  • Baltic Deco: free/$16.99, available for iOS. website: baltic deco planner
  • V-Planner: $45, available for iOS, android, pocket PC, mobile and SmartPhone. website: V-Planner
  • DiveX: $9.99, available for iOS and ovi. website: DiveX
  • iDiving: $0.99, available for iOS. website: (SIS software)
  • iScubaBuddy: $0.99, available for iOS. website: iScubaBuddy
  • DiveBuddy Pro: $19.99/$39.99, available for iOS. website: Adaptive Solutions
  • iScuba RDP: $0.99, available for iOS. website: Adaptive Solutions
  • DivePlan: $65, available for Symbian. website: DivePlan

What are you using? What is good and bad about it?

I use V-Planner, but I wouldn't recommend it to a novice diver who only wants to plan NDL dives. Not that it's too difficult, but unlike purpose built NDL dive planners, you have to hunt for the NDL time for the depth you want. It is after all, a decompression dive planner.

PS. V-Planner has VPM-B, & VPM-BE, not VPM.

Thanks for the heads-up. The forum software seems to insert the title of a linked page automatically between the URL tags. I'll change it.

Thanks for all your answers so far. It seems that there are two distinct categories: simple, inexpensive programs you can use as a replacement/backup for paper tables, versus full-fledged deco planners, some of them with a number of extra utilities.
