Don't worry, I'm sure they'll cancel service parts for it soon so you can buy the new one.
Innovative SCUBA Concepts has a similar design, but without the guard/guide for the line. I wonder how the prices compare?
Are you sure it's just a finger reel? It's typical for someone to knock it before they try it.
Maybe it is designed to be used with the HUB?
