I'm quite new to scuba and interested in experienced divers' opinions on scuba gear, esp BCD/regulator.

congrats on the certification, i as well just got certified, its a pretty awesome thing to get addicted to.

Welcome! It is a fantastic sport, one that will bring you closer to nature and enhance your understanding of our place on this fragile planet. You will see wondrous and beautiful things as you soar around the planet's oceans witnessing that which few ever see; and you feel anguish and despair at the damage being wrought on the ecosystem by pollution, global warming, shark finning and over fishing.

Once you taste the best nature has to offer, you will want to help protect it.

Good luck! And keep diving, join a club, make some new buddies, but keep at it! Oh and do your rescue certification, it is very important.
