Hello from Houston, Texas

Greetings and Respect from the Houston area.
I'm a future diver (I hope) and just signed up for the Padi basic open water course last night. I've always been interested in learning to dive but either never had the time or never had the money. Now that the kids are grown and have moved away my wife and I are enjoying some of the things we always wanted to do.

I'm looking forward to the adventure! Thanks for all the great info.

How you found the Texas Swamp Diver forum yet? We have a pretty active forum and it's a good place to meet other local divers, Texas Swamp Divers - ScubaBoard.
Houston also has a a pretty active dive group call CHUM. If you haven't heard of them you may want to check them out, City of Houston Underwater Mariners - The Water's More Exciting with CHUM in it.
