Hi
I was wondering if anyone could give some advise. I have a Sealife DC800 Camera which has been fine until we tried to use it at depths greater than 40m 120ft. Once we get to 40m the shutter jams and when we get to about 50m 150ft the case is that bad the rear buttons make contact without pressing them. Is this a design problem or just a faulty housing, i don't want to buy a new housing to find it just dose the same thing at 50m 150ft. It has made our trip to Truk Lagoon very frustrating (no Pics ).

Regards
Phil

Hello Phil,

Where are you located? I would suggest that you send in the housing for replacement/repair. The service techs would need both the housing and the camera for testing purposes. Then can then evaluate what is the problem and correct or replace.

Same problem, send housing back, replaced without question but again I had problem
with the new. I found what causes the problem, its bad construction in the interior of
the housing. Unfortunately is not suitable for depths under 35-40m

I rang eScuba and was very disappointed with the response i got... Sealife in the USA were much more helpful and sent me a new housing. But again it failed at about 50m we were very disappointed.
