Vis. ? Now who cares about Vis. anymore ??? 'Thing of the past.........
What ever the conditions and Vis. I have no doubt you'll make a fine dive of it.
'Wish I was going to be there to do some of that Nitrogen too :D

Have fun !

I was there yesterday and went to 100'. Visibility was 3-4 feet and COLD!

I don't know about Windy Point, but at Starnes Island yesterday I hit some vis in the 30' range. It was awesome. Oasis Wall had some terrific vis too. I didn't dive too deep at Starnes, but I hit 150' at Oasis. Visibility was excellent from 20' to 120' where it started deteriorating. By the time I hit 150' it was near zero.

Yesterday it dropped from about 15' to maybe 3' almost instantly at about 110' at Windy Point. I had a light fail so I did not go past about 110'.

Thats why we use line, don't need no stickin light :)

Did you not have 1 or 2 back-up lights?

3 actually (I use a mask light plus my 2 intova backups). However, reading a compass was the reason I was there and was not going to be easy with just them!
