In Aruba we LOVE Renaissance in town. It is away from the Touristy area, but still right in town. It has a casino, great restaurants, a theatre with show. The staff is excellent, and the service is wonderful. The best part is the "private island", where they have an adult side and family side. Red Sail Sports is located on the island, along with a great gift shop. We haven't used them but have heard good things about them.

Ambergris Caye, Belize has the best diving! And Xanadu Resort is an ideal place to stay - not too far from town, beautiful accommodations with kitchens, and has a pool.
