I don't know if you've booked you're tickets or not, but you might want to look at flying into either Bali or Jakarta. Prices on Garuda to either are cheaper than SilkAir prices for SIN-MDC. And CX has good award availability in to both DPS and JKT.

No, I've not booked yet. I have looked at a lot of alternate routes but had not looked at those two.
