Here is a series of images of a Grey Nurse Shark on my weekend trip to South West Rocks, Australia. I dived with Peter and Kevin Hitchins and their crew at South West Rcoks Dive Centre.

GNS are the same species as Sand Tigers and Raggytooth Sharks. Unfortunately due to heavy spearfishing in the 60's and 70's the population on the East Coast of Australia has been classed as critically endangered. They also have the slowest reproductive rate for sharks. With an average of one pup every year which doesnt help restocking the population

That is because they are sooo ugly, only their mothers love them. :D
