Seriously, have some alcohol "patches" to help get the wide bands off. Those things stick like mad..

Shave too. It is not that bad after the first few times. Thought I was gonna cry the first time and now I just pull.

I use the ultra flex, they don't stick as bad as wide bands and I've had no leak issues.

And don't worry about shaving, the first time you pull one off, all those hairs will be gone.

HN, those are the ones with about half the sticky area aren't they? If so, I'll get some.

Yeah, and I think they were a little cheaper.

And I think that is the only difference between them and the wide bands.

Just loosen the cap on the bottle of isopropyl alcohol that is found in every bathroom in America, sprinkle a little on, and slide the cath off.
With a quick-disconnect on the p-valve, you can quickly and surreptiously get your drysuit off in a crowd without people wondering why that diveandclimb guy is playing with himself in public after the dive.

1- Shave
2- Just unroll from the end and take it like a man! Truthfully, not painful if no hair-pulling involved (refer to #1)
3- I would not trust the non-adhesive type. I prefer the wide-bands, as do many others.
4- Quick-disconnect is nice. McMaster-Carr sells the same one as the dive shops for a fraction of the price
