I believe I know the place you are describing. If it is in New Melle I have dove it many times myself recently but never heard it described like you just did. If only I could get my wife to see it from your perspective I would get to dive even more often (because I would have a more permanent dive buddy). She was certified recently but wants nothing to do with cold or limited vis water. Personally I love any water I can dive. Oh well. Maybe I'll "bump" into you sometime in the green water.
 
well written. even a low vis quarry at least has a chance for the unexpected creature popping out of nowhere, which can be exciting enough.
