Hi Everyone! Great messageboard! Been trolling around for a while. I've been diving for 5 years but limited to Carribean diving. Have had a 7mm full wetsuit with hood/booties/gloves etc in my closet for a few years now. Have heard that there is great diving in NJ but haven't gotten past buying the gear! LOL

Anyone in NJ diving locally?

My husband and I are wanting to meet some local divers- twice a year in the Carribean just isn't enough! I hear that the visibility is surprisingly good in NJ. We're in Monmouth County- about 35 minutes north of Pt. Pleasant.

Welcome aboard Mom!! See, you've already made a connection!

)

Yo Ray, you gonna give us a Truk Lagoon trip report or what?

Oh, it was horrible. All that "in-and-out-of-the-water" gosh must have been 4 or 5 times a day. In fact in 17 days of diving I had to climb up that ladder 57 times!

Plus, all that...what did they call it? There was this stuff in the water...not used to it. I think they called it "visability" or something.

Everywhere you looked - visability!

Ugh!
