What ever the locals are drinking! In Belieze it happened to be Belkin Stouts. Damn tasty, but if I am at home in Texas I love my hometown Sait Arnolds Texas Wheat.
mmmmmm, Saint Arnolds makes a nice Octoberfest as well...:coffee:

In the good 'ol USA: Sierra Nevada or Shock Top
In Ecuador: Brahmin or Pilsener
In Puerto Rico: Modelo
Anywhere else, whatever is cold.

Because I associate them with my favorite places to dive, I like San Miguel, Cervesa Negra, Singha, Chang, and Bir Bintang.

Here in the Atlanta area a Sweetwater 420 goes down well too.

We have a nice micro brewery in our area called Troegs GREAT stuff! Depending on what I have in the "beer fridge" It can be a Pale Ale, or their Hop Back, or their double bock (Troegenator) r now that it's after the holidays Mad Elf! (they only brew it for the holiday season)

I also have some Fransiskaner Hefe Weisen, Ommegang, and Weyerbacher (which is another PA microbrewery) I also think I have some samplers from Wagner that's a brewery in NY Finger lakes (wine country)

Basically, anything cold and frothy works after diving!!!! (And I agree with the OP that wine doesn't cut it after a dive!)
