Thanks for the memories. I was there last October and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. There were already some females there in October.. huge and simply awe-inspiring.
 

Yes, when I was there the vessel I was on was boarded by the Mexican Navy. There is a thread about it here on Scubaboard. I have been following this issue very closely and I believe things will be resolved very soon

If I lived in San Diego I would probably go every year. I would have liked to see the larger females
