Diving in Kingston - Brewers Mills

I am thinking of diving in Kingston this weekend. I'm probably going to do some shore dives and one of the sites I found was Brewers Mills. I was wondering if Brewers Mills is an ice dive only destination, or does anyone do it in the summer?
