Are there any decent dives close to Oly? I have reason to be down there a lot lately and I am hoping there is some close and convenient shore diving to be had.

Thanks!

Well, sort of, there's Tolmie State park. Long surface swim out to the artificial reef. You can see the marker boys from shore. Not reel bad currents during tide exchanges. The reef is about 40 to 50 ft down. I freedive this one. Next is Stailacoom's pipe line that is used a lot for scuba schools. Or you can check out Underwatersport and Capital Divers here in Olympia and they have always been helpful and anyway got to get your tank filled somewhere. O yea, Hood canal is just around the corner with more dive spots.

Thanks!
