Does anyone know if there is any diving at Lake O' The Pines, and if so where are the best spots to go and what are the conditions like?
Thanks,
Jimmie

Hey Jimmie

I've groped around sandy beach lookin for stuff swimmers lost, but at it's best, the viz is 5 ft. Tree stumps and fishing lines make for good entanglement practice.....cut my first troutline hook outta my shoulder on that lake....

Some time you get a chance.....and you have a BOAT...hint hint... Lets do the Henry Perky Power Plant lake.(Brady Branch)... It's just south of I-20 before you get to Marshal... 20-30 minutes more than going to Lake O' the Pines..... Brenda did her check out dives there and it looked very promising....good viz...but we we in the cove and shallow....heard it's deeper than LOP too!

I will be making several trips to the Tyler area over the next three to four weeks, and I would love to get together and dive with you a time or two. I can bring the boat with me I just have to plan in advance. I will get back with you when I know for sure the days that I will be over there.:)
