Santa Monica Baykeeper Volunteer Diver Training Class
Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 7 PM
Eco Dive Center, 4027 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230

While some year to year fluctuation is normal, nearly 90% of Southern California kelp forests have disappearedsince 1967.

Volunteer divers help restore and scientifically monitorkelp forests in Santa Monica Bay.

Volunteer requirements: Rescue certified · Dive Medical · CPR/First Aid Dive Insurance · Annual Gear Service DAN Oxygen Administration

Just an FYI: You dont need all the requirements done to do the training! They understand they have many requirements and are very patient! I wasn't even open water when I first connected with them!

Nice meeting you too Bill! Hopefully the great dive conditions will get the island buzzing with divers again!
 
I'll be there. Don't have my DAN O2 class yet, so I know I can't start until I have time to knock that out, but I'll be there for the class on 2/8. :)
 
For a change, I'm driving jmdiver and I down to Culver City for the training meeting...since we're not hauling dive gear, we will both (barely) fit in my Miata.
