Hi there,

I am thinking of doing a DM Internship in Roatan this October / November with Subway Watersports (http://www.subwaywatersports.com/Courses/internship.htm) and was wondering if anyone had dived there before?

What is the diving like and what would the weather be like at that time of year?

Any responses would be much appreciated,

Many thanks...

I know patrick quite well who runs the diving out there that side of roatan. You will get a good experience no doubt. The weather may not be the best at that time of year, as I did mine in roatan 2 years ago at this time. That was in the west end and we often had to go to the other side to dive as the north side was to rough and churned up. Ask here too for mor info.
thanks

My advice is to make the final decision on who you do your DM course with when you get here. Whatever you do - DO NOT part with any cash in form of deposits or such like until you have seen the place met the instructors there. Also meet a few instrucors from alternative shops as well. Then you can make a truly informed decision. No dive shop in Roatan gets so full that they do not have space for DMTs.
