Cortes Banks October 30 & 31

Greetings fellow divers,

Haven's Reef of Los Angeles, CA has 5 open spots left for our upcoming 2-day Halloween charter aboard the Peace Dive Boat. Destination: Cortes Banks

The cost is $315 per person and includes food, air and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soda, juice, coffee, etc). 32% Nitrox fills are available on-board for an additional fee.

The boat will board Saturday, October 29th at Ventura Harbor in Ventura, CA and will be leaving at 10:00 PM that night. Plan on getting there a little early in order to set up gear and get your bunk settled before the boat gets underway.

Sunday, October 30th & Monday, October 31st will be spent diving, with the boat returning late evening of October 31st.

As always, Haven's Reef will be conducting our traditional goodie-give-away during the trip. Everyone who signs ups for a Haven's Reef charter will walk away with a gift certificate to be redeemed at the shop. And what is the fallback destination if the weather does not permit Cortez?

If weather does not permit Cortes Banks the fall back destination will be Captains choice. There is currently no set destination because weather and dive conditions won't be known until we are underway. Tanner Banks is most likely out. If the boat can't make it to Cortes, then it probably can't make it to Tanner. The most reasonable choice will be one of the Channel Islands.

That said, if we don't make it to Cortes Banks and are diverted to one of the Channel Islands, clients can expect a partial refund. Obviously it takes less fuel to go to one of the Channel Islands from Ventura then it does to Cortes Banks. I can't say exactly what that number will be until a final destination is chosen in the event Cortes can't be made.
