I've just received a very positive formal response from the club. The Newcastle and Port Stephens Game Fishing Club does not condone these mens' actions at all - the club is taking further action on the issue, and I've also heard that NSW DPI are taking action.

Basically sounds like a stop is going to be put to it.

I got the same reply. Sounds like the club had some rouge 'cowboys' that they just wished were not associated with the club.

A win for the good guys!!
 
How fantastic that they're training the animals to expect easy meals at their surf spot.

Maybe after the morning's catch, they return to the waters for a bit of surfing, while still smelling of salmon.
