Diving off the Giant Stride yesterday at Palos Verdes. 3 dives, not too cold (last week at Catalina was colder). Here is a nice little Spanish shawl (Flabellinopsis) from a dive at Hawthorne. Enjoy

First he crawls onto a satay stick (they like texture) then onto the background. After his photo session back to where he started.

What was the NB perched on?

Was the background removed in Photoshop?
 
Staging tiny animals makes for dramatic photos, as well as presenting the animal in ways that show off their beauty. Bill also uses a stage with four foldable legs and multiple surfaces. I just use a simple reflective obsidian disc.
