Just got off a 1-week trip to the Sea of Cortez on the Rocio Del Mar. Great trip with friends, we chartered the boat and had 10 divers (they normally take 20). Here is a nice little brown cheek blenny in a field of grass.
Enjoy, Bill (as always OM -1, AOI, 2xAOI RC strobes and the 45 macro)

Very cool. How was the diving overall out there? That is one spot on my list.

We have done 6 trips there. Lots of blennies, sea lions, a day with whale sharks, some nudies. Great trip, but if you go try to get on the new boat, the Quino.

Very nice pic. I'm on the same trip starting next weekend. How were water temps and vis? Any major thermoclines? I did the same trip about a decade ago, but at the very start of the season, so not sure what to expect.

Mostly temps were 80-82, warmer in the South. A couple of thermoclines to 75.
Vis in the north was crummy, vis in the south was much better.

Thanks for the quick response!
