Issues getting UFL-3 strobe to work with AOI UH EM10 IV Housing

Update - so I had a look and I can see the red LEDs being triggered on the housing, therefore I'm wondering if it's a sensitivity issue with the fiber optics cable (given the cable triggers the flash if I put it in front of the built in camera flash). I'll grab a different brand one over the weekend and see how I go

In my case, my led flash trigger which is made by DIY can only flash manual mode. Sometimes the signal seems too week to ignite strobe, I change the flash setting on camera as Manual, Full power or 1/3 then it works.
 
Hi all, just wanted to say thanks for everyone's responses. So I got a new optic fiber and now the strobe is firing, obviously the other fiber I had wasn't sensitive enough to the light triggers on the housing and needs more like a flash to set it off.
