I'm a Fish!
Back in the river to hunt for more bottles and crockery; found 3 separate dump areas on this very lengthy dive, with some nice treasures to bring home, including another ( that makes 3! ) G.W. Merchants bottle from Lockport, N.Y.

Very cool. Old bottles are great treasure.
I couldn’t agree more! They’ve become a bit of an obsession with me; the search continues tomorrow! Lol

Engine piston , cylinder type, weights around 20#

Have you tried the St. Clair River? Snye Channel had thousands of rare bottles.
Not for bottle hunting, as I live 5 hours distant, but I stay tuned to the finds that are being made via the St. Clair River Divers FB Grp.

Make time if you can. Courtright, Sombra, and Lambton have some great areas to search for bottles. I had a friend yanked out of the water at Windsor though. Apparently you cannot dive there anymore.

Thanks for the tip; I'll try & get out there next season, perhaps for several days, to try these locations, as they sound enticing!
