Hi, I've receive to repair an old BCD Scubapro with a rotary inflator.
This is, the inflator assy can rotate in the flange to the bladder. There is a clamp that can be removed to disconnect the inflator assy from the bladder.
I've seen that there is no gasket, but there should be some to avoid leaks.
Attached the pics I've taken.

Rotary suggests oring man

Many SP BC elbows seal with an oring. Not familiar with this style but i would guess it's needed. Proprietary size which is annoying.

Seems the o-ring shall stay on the inner ring, the one with the small diameter that goes into the recess.

Probably you can unscrew the part on the bladder using the scubapro tool (with four pin) and replace it with a standard elbow attachment.

It sits down in the female side.

The others are right, there is an O-ring missing, more specifically, O-ring #26 from the picture. There was however some sort of sleeve as well. I'll be right honest here, I can't recall if it was a gasket or sleeve.

  • This O-ring (01.050.254) is a standard O-ring. BS1806-213 (3.53mm x 23.39mm).
  • The O-ring (01.050.228) on newer ScubaPro BCDs is also a standard O-ring. BS1806-120 (2.62mm x 25.07mm).
I would suggest buying either in 70 Shore A and the original ones are EPDM. You won't do anything wrong with NBR though.

Thanks a Lot !

The others are right

You've got a different schematic there professor, so best you go try catch @emoreira at the train station

You've got a different schematic there professor[...]
Then why not give the correct ones?

To me it absolutely looks like the pre 2000 flat elbow without a dump valve. While I get that pictures can be difficult to interpret, the clamp isn't present on the newer elbow with integrated dump.

I'd be grateful if you could share what you think is the correct O-ring and/or schematic. I'm fairly certain that it isn't the integrated dump elbow.
