I started out to thank the Shearwater girls, Trisha and Allison for their great donations, and especially for the Shearwater computer I was awarded in the photo competition.
That was quite a surprise!!

The more I think about it, the more I realize just how much Thanks we owe Dennis, cardzard, and Roxanne, for not only putting this entire trip together, but even more for pulling it off despite some very unpleasant surprises!

Few of us could, or would have been able to keep things working under those extremely difficult circumstances, as you did!

You "guys" Rock!

I would also like to express my appreciation for all the hard work and effort that Dennis and Roxanne put into this trip. I'm sure every trip is a challenge to put together and then actually pull off, when things invariably don't go the way they should. Cats are hard to herd, but boy this trip you had a whole "glaring" (had to look that up on Google).
For my family and I we can't express how much we appreciated having your help dealing with our particular challenge. And we still had an enjoyable time for the most part. The people were awesome (well, except the owner) and the diving was great.
Other dive trips await and we can't wait to join all the ScubaBoard crew on the next adventure.
Oh, and James just joined ScubaBoard as "Megalodiver"

I feel bad for Dennis and Roxanne for having to spend so much of their vacation constantly solving issues throughout the entire trip. At the same time, I am beyond appreciative of their efforts that made a very real and positive impact on the quality of our vacations.

I would also like to thank all my fellow divers whose friendly and helpful attitude really make this invasion feel like we are a community and not just a random group of internet strangers.

Ditto -- thanks @cardzard and @ROXANNE for everything you did to put together the invasion and keep it running smoothly. There were bumps in the road along the way, of course, but it was agreat trip with a great set of divers. As a first-time invader, I always felt welcome and included.

Also, a big thank you to the Houston crew that got stuck in Belize City last night. It was a tough situation for all of us, but much easier knowing that I had 9 friends around to share the experience.

Looking forward to the next one.

Steve, you got stuck in Belize overnight!?! Scott and I spent the morning at a local bar and got back to the airport around 1p and saw a massive cluster🤬 in the United area. It looked like UA 1405 was delayed 2.5 hrs and ultimately 1405 and our flight, 1570, left at the same time around 3p. With all the issues United had getting people to Belize and then getting them home, I'm growing a bit concerned.

Yes, 10 of us in flight 1504 to Houston had to spend Saturday night in a hotel in Belize city. We got to Houston around noon on Sunday. My 3pm flight home from Houston was delayed by another 6 hours, so I landed at 1am Monday morning.
