. . . I think that matches the divers up here
Especially someone who does an extended dive in the St. L with just a 3 mil wetsuit!

I don't know why but The Great White North part isn't sitting well here...I think because we've had to correct too many people who believed that ALL of Canada is found north of the United States and that it always snows everywhere and that we all live in igloos.

It's too bad I didn't know how to SCUBA way back when I lived in various places within Ontario, Quebec, or B.C.. =[

Hmmm..think the Canadian contingent could get ROOTS to supply gear/water wearables???? haha! TEAM CANADA SCUBA sweatshirts, wetsuits, etc. =]

If words have different meanings on the other side of the lake, We'll never really know for sure, what they're saying!

Example:
I have Canadian Relatives. I know the word "beer" has 2 similar but different meanings depending on which side of the lake you're on!

So THAT explains why I heard you end some of your sentences with "eh?" this past weekend at Lake Travis :tease:

Seriously...it was fun hanging out with you and B. And we need to get both of you involved with our expiditionary group to find new sites in central texas (other lakes or rivers).

I am rather taken with the mantle. As that old saying goes, 'What's in a name?' In this instance, I take from the title that we are fresh water specialists. This is somewhat similar to Texans diving in swamps and Floridians descending holding conch shells.

If you delve into it, you can ascribe several other definitions to the word, just as you can to the word conch or Texan. (Webster's)

Be happy with it. It's us. It sets us apart rather than N.D.I. chapter II, or Ontario chapter.

Let's get diving.
