Grew up in South Georgia(Vidalia area), but have been living in the Greater Atlanta area for several years now since graduating college. Have always wanted to scuba dive. I studied Mathematics at Georgia Southern University, and studied Statistics in graduate school at Kennesaw State University. I met my wife at Georgia Southern, but she finished up her education at Kennesaw State as well. We have a daschund named Cosmo, and two cats, Zen and Zola.

In 2015, my wife agreed to give dive a try by starting with a "Try Scuba" course at our local dive shop. She liked it, so we went on through the formal OW certification course. Dive Shop is Divers Supply, Marietta. We did our checkout dives down in Fl at Blue Grotto and Rainbow River. Diving is something that I had always wanted to do, but it was definitely something she never thought she would do, according to her. She's thanked me several times for talking her into it though, however. :)

We went to Cozumel on our honeymoon and did 3 dive trips with ScubaTony (highly, highly recommend) , which solidified a love for diving for the both of us.

We can't wait to get back in the water, and we are hoping to get some of our own gear(besides the basics we already own) soon. Hoping to check out some "local" diving as well, such as Lake Jocassee, Panama City area, and the Carolina's as well. Definitely interested in checking out south Florida over time.

I work as a Statistician for State Farm Insurance, and my wife is a High School English Teacher in Cobb County.
