    Shaff started his diving career in 1994 and as an SSI Instructor Training & a PADI MSDT, he has extensive knowledge of diving all over the Maldives. He has worked with underwater film crews from around the world. For the past 8 years he has successfully ventured into underwater photography, winning the "Best of Show" in the photography contest held by the Maldives Tourism Promotion Board in 2007. In the same competition he also won the 1st and 2nd place in the Underwater Category. His underwater photos have been published in various local and international magazines such as ScubaDiver Australasia, Asian Geographic Passport, Ocean Geographic.

 He is also the founder of 'Atoll Scuba', one of the most well known and professional diver training centers run by a Maldivian.
