      Hey R A Diver,

      Just saw this message. I live about 7-8 hours west of Morehead City. My diving is pretty ,much done for the year unitl I get to Grand Cayman in March unles I can squeeze in a Cozumel trip before then. Coral Reefer has more of a connection to Buffett than grass, which I guess is almost the same thing. Maybe 30 years ago, now I would just drool and sit in the corner LMAO! Hope you had a good dive.

    Was at Crystal River, Florida in Kings Bay and the Rainbow River. I was always the last one on the boat! Had a blast. Made it down to 65 feet. The maximum In the area. Went to Manatee Springs the next day to log some extra dives. Had a great time. "Way Down Upon the Swannee River."

    Since reading "Dolphin Island" by Arthur C. Clark in the 60's have wanted to take up diving. Since then it has always been school, marriage, children, work. Now that I am sort of retired am ready to "take the plunge."
    Born in a textile town in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Lived all around east coast and traveled some of the world. Spent most of the last 40 years in the NC Mountains. (Just learned, don't dive at 65' and drive ten hours to 3,800 feet. Took two months and ear surgery to get them open.)
    Am Married to a United Methodist Pastor serving as a Hospice Chaplain. Have two grown children. One a manager for a Blowing Rock Mountain Resort. The other a former student at NASCAR tech now working in restoring classic cars.
    Was a Pastor in the United Methodist Church for 30 years. Am now on medical incapacity leave and working as a freelance writer and professional genealogist.
    Am retired as a Volunteer Fire Fighter and medical first responder for 22 years. Served in four different departments.
